Today marks another exciting milestone at the Cassman manufacturing facility. We are thrilled to announce the successful loading and shipment of four 5,000L custom-designed fruit wine storage tanks. These "super-high" stainless steel vessels are now on their way to a growing fruit winery and cidery located in the beautiful countryside of Kent, United Kingdom.
With a transit time of approximately 26 days, our British partners will soon be expanding their fermentation capacity just in time for the upcoming production season.
Our client, a boutique winery in the UK (let’s call them Oakwood Valley Estate to respect their privacy), faced a common challenge in the craft beverage industry: growing demand but limited floor space.
They needed to increase their production of premium fruit wines and sparkling ciders but didn't have the footprint to accommodate standard wide-diameter tanks. Temperature Control: Equipped with efficient dimple cooling jackets to precisely control fermentation temperatures—crucial for preserving the delicate aromatics of fruit wines.

Shipping "super-high" tanks requires expert logistics planning. Because these tanks exceed standard container dimensions when upright, they must be carefully loaded horizontally.
This morning, our logistics team used specialized cradles and protective padding to slide these massive vessels into the shipping containers. Every valve, port, and surface was wrapped and secured to ensure they arrive in the UK in pristine condition, ready for installation.
