There is an old saying in our industry: "Selling beer equipment to the Czech Republic is like selling ice to Eskimos."
The Czech Republic is widely considered the spiritual home of beer. It is the birthplace of the Pilsner style and boasts the highest beer consumption per capita in the world. Local brewers there have incredibly high standards for their equipment.
That is why my phone buzzed with extra excitement this morning. Our client in the Czech Republic sent us photos via WhatsApp confirming that their new Cassman 300L (3HL) Microbrewery System is fully installed and ready to brew!
Unlike the large industrial projects we handle (like our recent 10,000L tanks in Uzbekistan), this project was all about precision in a small footprint.
The client required a system that could fit into a limited space—likely for a brewpub or a pilot batch facility—without sacrificing the professional features found in larger breweries.
System Highlights:
Capacity: 300L (3HL) per batch.
Heating Method: Electric heating (ideal for smaller spaces where steam boilers are impractical).
Configuration: A compact 2-vessel brewhouse (Mash/Lauter + Kettle/Whirlpool) designed for ergonomic operation.
Finish: High-quality sanitary stainless steel polishing to meet European food safety standards.
One of the key advantages of our 300L and 500L systems is the Skid-Mounted Design.
For this Czech project, we pre-piped and pre-wired much of the brewhouse on a stainless steel skid before it left our factory in China. This significantly reduced the complexity of on-site installation.
As seen in the photos sent by the client, the setup looks clean, professional, and ready for action. The client managed the installation with their local team, guided by our detailed 3D drawings and remote video support. This proves that you don't always need an engineer on-site to get a Cassman system up and running.

Why would a brewer in the heart of Europe import equipment from China?
Cost-Performance Ratio: We offer professional-grade stainless steel fabrication at a competitive price point, allowing small businesses to achieve faster ROI (Return on Investment).
Customization: We didn't just sell a stock unit; we adjusted the voltage (400V/50Hz) and dimensions to fit their specific building constraints.
Trust: Through transparent communication and sharing references from our other European clients, we built the trust necessary for this cross-border partnership.
Thinking about a nano-brewery? Here are common questions about our 300L systems.
Yes, absolutely. A 300L system is the "Golden Size" for brewpubs, restaurants, and taprooms. It produces enough beer to serve fresh pints on-site without requiring a massive industrial warehouse.
No. For systems 500L and smaller, we highly recommend Electric Heating. It is cleaner, quieter, easier to install, and avoids the strict regulations often associated with gas or steam boilers in Europe.
A 300L system typically fits into a 20GP container or LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping boxes. We use reinforced wooden crates to ensure the tanks arrive in Prague (or anywhere else) without a scratch.
